DIRECTION OF LANGUAGE FLOW FROM ATLANTIS

The map on the right illustrates roughly the possible direction and manner of language flow, from mainland Atlantis to the European and African continents, as well as to the particular Atlantic island groups. It seems likely that differences in dialects of the Atlantean language from north to south in Atlantis itself could have developed over tens of thousands of years. Such differences would have manifested themselves in the various North African and West European languages shown on the map. The languages shown are all closely related to one another, yet totally unrelated to other European languages.
